Rip-Wrapped: Breaking New Ground
A Collaborative Installation with Robert Harrison
A Collaborative Installation with Robert Harrison
While creating Rip-Wrapped: Breaking New Ground, our mission was to be sustainably responsible with our material choices. Our sculptural forms were influenced by the architecture of the Jailhouse Gallery (our installation site at the Myrna Loy Art Center, Helena, MT) as well as historical and contemporary imagery found in the West. The organic materials refer back to the earliest materials of human organization and shelter. These materials also connect us, through our environment, back to early human activity.
